Job Summary:
This is a full-time job as a Radiology Assistant at Greene County General Hospital. The job involves scheduling radiology appointments and greeting patients as they come into the department. The Radiology Assistant will provide excellent customer service to patients and assist them promptly with their scheduled appointments. The assistant will also obtain consent and authorizations for procedures, interact with staff and physicians, order supplies and equipment, transport and move patients, and assist technologists with patients during exams.
Essential Requirments:
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of clerical and/or customer service experience, excellent interpersonal and telephone skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must also be CPR certified within one month of hire and have good visual acuity. The physical requirements for the job include frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and the ability to lift to 100 lbs, bend, stoop, reach, and use fingers to palpate and feel.
- Picks up the phone and gives help to patients or suppliers to plan radiologic tests.

Job Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Certification/Licensure:
