Trading on online platforms can be risky, but my recent experience with Quotex was far more troubling than just market losses. I want to share my story so others can understand the risks and avoid what happened to me.
My Initial Deposit and the Bonus Offer
I deposited funds into my Quotex account using USDT. Shortly after, I received a bonus offer on my deposit. At the time, it sounded helpful — more balance to trade with.
However, what I didn’t realize was how strict and difficult the bonus “terms and conditions” truly were.
Like many traders, I thought the bonus was optional and harmless. But accepting it turned out to be the biggest mistake of my trading journey.
The Unexpected Problem
After trading for some time, I was unable to meet the bonus requirements. The platform requires traders to complete a very large turnover before any withdrawal is allowed when a bonus is applied.
Because I couldn’t complete those conditions, Quotex deducted my entire real balance, not just the bonus amount.
This means the money I deposited myself was also taken away simply because I didn’t meet bonus turnover requirements.
I was shocked. My account balance went to zero.

When I tried to withdraw, I discovered that my withdrawal was blocked due to the bonus. After the failure to complete turnover requirements, my money was removed, and I had no way to recover it.

Why I Feel This Is Unfair
In my personal opinion, the bonus system works like a trap for beginners.
The bonus sounds helpful, but the conditions are extremely difficult.
If you fail the conditions, even your own deposit is affected.
There is no warning at the time of accepting the bonus explaining how risky this is.
Customer support offered no real help in resolving the issue.
I personally felt scammed because I lost my entire deposit, not because of trading losses, but because of restrictive bonus rules.
What I Learned
If you ever use Quotex or any similar platform:
Do NOT accept bonuses unless you fully understand the turnover requirement.
Always read the detailed terms — even if they are hidden or complicated.
Never deposit more than you can afford to lose.
Use platforms that clearly state their rules and don’t block withdrawals unfairly.
