Focus of Non-U.S. Residents on Denmark, The Faroe Islands, and Greenland
This programme, officially known as The Unfamiliar Public Understudy Assistant Programme (FNSIP), is designed for students looking for temporary work with the U.S. State Division at U.S. Missions outside the U.S. who are not U.S. citizens. The programme helps both posts and students by providing non-American students with considerable educational interaction with U.S.
Missions and by assisting posts in attaining their primary aim objectives. The Program's goal is to give students the opportunity to test their skills in a sector involving global issues while also gaining from their assistance. The assistant is not employed by the US Government, the US Branch of State, or the International Safe Haven, hence there are no benefits added to this temporary post.
Those Eligible
The programme is open to students who are not U.S. citizens, are at least 18 years old, have graduated from high school or a comparable optional school, and who have enrolled in an exchange programme, a professional foundation, a junior college, or a similar type of perceived educational institution in the Kingdom of Denmark. The understudies should be eligible for the standard home and employment grants in Denmark. Undergraduates who also hold citizenship in the United States are not eligible for this programme but should instead apply for the U.S. Citizenship programme.
